How Things Will Be is my newest single released through Lately.fm. The sound is a grungy summer throw-back to the days of early Bandcamp bedroom producers. The intentional over-compression and distortion of the guitar has a certain indie nostalgia that rings home for me. I view this release as a grainy representation of my views on the summer I met my wife Devy. We spent endless hours that summer sending stolen youtube clips to each other of our new favorite tracks we found on old 2009 music blogs. What started as a love for frequencies turned into a summer of love and friendship that we both will cherish forever.
